Classical Music Society

Welcome to Truro 3 Arts

Truro 3 Arts Grand Piano Appeal 2019 - fundraising target reached!

Truro 3 Arts are very grateful for the generous response to our request for donations to enable the purchase of a new instrument for society use. The instrument will ensure that T3A continue to invite the very best chamber music performers to perform. The piano will be located at Truro College, and will also be used by students and teachers.

The 75th Concert Season has been

postponed until October 2021

The trustees have reluctantly reached this decision after extensive consultation with our members. We are very keen to hear live music again, but it was felt that the practical difficulties and the uncertainty that exists as a result of the continuing Covid-19 response make this a very difficult proposition for the forthcoming months.

Sacconi Quartet with Roderick Williams on Friday, 4th June 2021 has been cancelled due to covid restrictions.

We were all very much looking forward to the above concert but regrettably we have had to postpone. Despite our best efforts, it became clear that the practical difficulties of safely hosting a concert with covid restraints in place made the situation financially unviable.

Thank you to all our members and supporters over the last challenging 12 months.

Truro 3 Arts will continue to offer an excellent opportunity to hear a range of interesting classical music played by top musicians and we look forward to an exciting and varied programme for the forthcoming season.

Julie Bennett, Chair of T3 Arts

We would all like to wish Julie well as she steps down from the Chair of Truro 3 Arts and takes up an exciting new role as Manager of the Ryedale Festival, based in North Yorkshire.   She has expressed her sadness at leaving Truro 3 Arts and we are all certainly very grateful for her tremendous contribution over the years.  This will hopefully be an exciting opportunity for collaboration between the two organisations in the future.
