Founded in 1945, The Society has been in existence now for 80 years, with a mission to bring world class chamber music and rising young stars to Truro. T3A also supports musical education and appreciation in Cornwall by giving young people special access to our concerts, as well as hosting occasional performances by music students.

T3A is run entirely by its membership, who volunteer their time and effort to organise all its concerts and associated activities through an elected committee. T3A welcomes new Members and Patrons, whose support is vital to the Society’s ability to achieve its mission.

Our concerts are held in the Mylor Theatre, courtesy of Truro College. This purpose-built auditorium is admirably suited to chamber music performances, with approximately 177 seats in 11 rows, tiered to give uninterrupted sound and views of the stage. There is occasional extra seating on the stage itself. To complement the excellence of the performances, the Society owns a Yamaha grand piano maintained in controlled conditions and professionally tuned before every performance.
